About Berry & Escott
Located in Bridgwater, Somerset the company was originally established over 30 years ago as Berry Engineering.
Directors Lee Berry (ONC/HNC) and Chris Escott (EngTech MIMechE) came together in 2003 to expand the company into what is now widely considered one of the UK’s leading precision engineering companies, with a track record of surpassing customer expectations on project outcomes.
Our substantial offices, specialised production & workshop facilities, fleet of task specific vehicles and over 40 members of staff enable the company to deliver high quality engineered solutions to meet the needs of our broad customer base.
Berry & Escott prides itself on delivering excellence in design, precision machining and ‘turn key’ ferrous and non-ferrous fabricated solutions. As a highly responsive and creative engineering company, we offer our customers unrivalled levels of customer service, technical expertise and operational support.

As a company we continue to update our processes and systems to ensure operational efficiencies and competitive advantage.
Our Factory Production Control System not only gives us complete control of our manufacturing process, it also ensures we are able to meet, and often exceed, our customers' delivery schedules. Utilising 'real time' shop floor data collection our project management teams have an up-to-the-minute overview of the status of work being carried out in our workshops.
Integrating Seiki Scheduling Software into our I.T infrastructure helps ensure efficient work planning and our ability to manage future capacity requirements.
Berry & Escott's team of Solidworks specialist engineers can receive & process 2D and 3D models in a variety of formats, including:

Complimenting our cutting-edge design facilities, Berry & Escott has invested in 3D Scanning and 3D Printing capabilities they offer additional levels of technical insight and performance benefits; eliminating often costly and time consuming issues before they arise.
Environment
Berry & Escott have committed to reducing our environmental impacts by achieving ISO14001 in 2013. This has enabled us to:

We are proud to manufacture products for a number of Environmental Agencies and wherever possible ensure we use recycled, low carbon footprint materials in our production processes.
Our state-of-the-art compressor in our production area enables us to re-use its hot air output, heating our workshop facilities throughout the winter months.
Alongside incorporating energy efficient lighting throughout the business, we have significantly reduced the need for lighting in certain areas by creating natural skylights.
Re-using virtually all incoming packaging and significantly reducing our waste to landfill, Berry & Escott is proud to have been recognised as Commercial Environmental Award winners, further highlighting our dedication and commitment to this important aspect of our business.
