We didn't need a new compliance system to get into Defence. We needed a way in.
Years supplying the nuclear sector meant the accreditation, traceability, and quality systems Defence expects require were already part of how we work. That's usually the hardest part of breaking in, for us, it was the easiest.
What took time was different: understanding how the sector operates, going to the right events, and nurturing a relationship until it became real work. No framework covers that. It's patience, and consistency, the same approach that got us into nuclear.
We're still early through that door, and we're not pretending otherwise. But it's opening, and it suits how we're built, multidisciplinary capability, real accreditation, and a partnership-led way of working.
